polka dot pants.

I've been banging on a bit about primark recently, haven't I? but with good reason I think! These gorgeous plisse culottes are from primark and boy do they tick my boxes! comfy?-check, cute?- check, good as holiday wear?- check, cheap?- check.

There's also no escaping my love of polka dots. I feel like polka dot is such a classic print, it's chic, easy to wear and just adds a bit more to an outfit than a block colour. I paired my new trews with a frilly bardot top from new look (it was £5 something!).

I love a bardot top for summer, it just feels so elegant and timeless. The smocking and frill hems on this one add a girlish touch.

to further bring out a playful element I decided to bung my hair up into milkmaid braids. It's super rare I wear my hair any other way than down and loose, but I actually really liked this look and it was perfect for warmer weather.

Along with my usual make up I decided to wear a matte red lip ( NYX liquid suede in kitten heels) as I felt it gave a slight vintage element to the look!

I finished the look off with some gorgeous cat eye sunglasses- which are also very budget friendly (from H&M) and also added a kind of nostalgic vibe.

and for wearing in the evening- or just for the 'can't-make-up-it's-mind' english weather- my trusty H&M pleather jacket. When this falls apart I might just consider an all saints replacement, but for now my budget friendly version is perfect!
